Showtime! Music of Broadway and Hollywood by the Mormon Tabernacle Choir. Published by Deseret Book.

The Mormon Tabernacle Choir has done it again! They have produced another CD of flawless, beautiful music. I end up loving anything the choir puts out, and this one is no exception. The choir departs from their usual hymns and spiritual numbers on this CD and instead, they tackle Broadway and Hollywood. The arrangements are stunning and since most of the songs are familiar to me, I found myself singing along right away.

Arrangements on this CD are done by Michael Davis, Kurt Bestor, Mack Wilberg, Arthur Harris, and Barlow Bradford. The songs range from slow ballads like "Where Is Love?" from the musical Oliver, and "Over the Rainbow" from the Wizard of Oz to more upbeat numbers like "Circle of Life" from The Lion King. Guest soloists on "Circle of Life" are Jenny Jordan Frogley and Alex Boye'. The Mormon Tabernacle Choir is so professional is all their productions. I know this one will be played regularly at my house.
