Grave Secrets by Marlene Austin. Published by Covenant Communications, Inc.

Bethany Carlisle graduates from college on the day she learns her grandmother, the woman who raised her, is dead. Not only is she dead, but she left Bethany with many stipulations listed in her will, in order to inherit the estate; she must move to an abandoned house in Maine and spend a year there writing a book. Then strange things start to happen and Bethany doesn't know what to think or who to trust.

This is an interesting novel. It's a book full of mystery and suspense with an emphasis on family history. A strange combination. But I found it quite compelling. There are parts that are a little difficult to follow, I got a little lost. But the ending was very satisfactory and not at all predictable. Please refrain from reading the end of the book first, as it will be very confusing and not make much sense. Believe me, I speak from experience. It was an enjoyable, quick read and a fun mystery.
