Bright Blue Miracle by Becca Wilhite. Published by Shadow Mountain.

When seventeen-year-old Leigh Mason's Father dies, she considers her best friend Jeremy a "consolation prize from God". Jeremy (aka "the Germ") and Leigh have been best friends since seventh grade and they share everything together, well except clothes, discussions of body changes, and sleepovers - I mean, after all, Jeremy is a boy! So when Leigh's mom gets remarried and her perfect new stepsister moves in, Leigh is less than thrilled to share her room, her family, and possibly Jeremy. But Leigh soon discovers that things aren't always as they seem on the outside and sometimes you enemy turns out to be your friend.

This is a great book filled with friendship, family, comedy and romance. I love this hilarious novel. From the very first page I was sucked into the Mason/Burke family's life and had to buckle down for safety on this rollercoaster ride! 'Bright Blue Miracle' is a book that anyone can relate to and is definatly going to be placed on my favorite bookself. I reccomend it for pre-teens to adults. This book is definatly a must-read!
