Lemon Tart by Josi S. Kilpack. Published by Deseret Book.

Sadie Hoffmiller would never want to be thought of as a gossip, merely a concerned neighbor. So when the police show up in her cul-de-sac, of course she wants to know what's going on! But she doesn't expect her neighbor and friend, Anne Lemmon to be found murdered in her backyard, while her lemon tart is still baking in her oven. Also, where is Anne's 2 year old son Trevor? Sadie just knows that she can help the police solve this case, whether they like it or not!

This was a fun, mystery book! I'm not sure that I've ever used the words fun and mystery in the same sentence - but it really fits in this case. I do have to say that I thought Sadie was really a busybody and I'm not so sure how I would feel having her as a neighbor myself in MY neighborhood. But that just made this book all the more entertaining. It was a light hearted and fast paced book that I would recommend to anyone of any age.
